Should LT's and Catbacks be bought at the same time? Does it really matter if I bought a catback first then the lt's later, or would it make more sense to wait and do both at once? It would kind of make more sense to me to wait and do both at once to fit everything together, but I am poor and have my heart set on saving for the gmmg with kooks and kooks y with cats. Seems like I'll never get there and sort of want to just do the gmmg as soon as possible. I can be patient though if it matters. |
well that exhaust system is going to be quite expensive...I'd just get the exhaust and see how you like it first. You never know, You may change your mind and never do headers. |
Or you could buy headers and then may not want a catback, I like the way my car sound with the factory catback :judge: |
get he catback, and save your money for the headers. it will be a great system when you get it done. |
well, i know i say this in just about every exhaust thread... get kooks OR QTP (cheaper, and in every measurable way, just as good... I have em, they are PERFECT) long tubes, and some true duals, I have a setup custom made by lane, but any duals are better than no duals! I love it, and the sound is grrrrrreeat! Plus they are usaully cheaper, and in 99% of the cases, they will present you with noticeable gains, high and low! |
Do it all at the same time and call it a day. |
I'd get the catback first... then save for the Headers and Y... the Y is what's gonna kill ya cause you'll be able to afford headers then Whoop - gotta spend $400 more on a Y... DOH! Lol.. that's where I'm at right now... got Pacesetters sittin around with no Y.... :bang: :bang: :bang: |
Thanks for the responses. So basically it won't be wasting money or messing anything up if I got the headers and y first and then later decided I want to put on a catback? And likewise if I put a catback on first and then saved up for the headers and y, I won't be wasting money or messing anything up? |
Correct and correct :) |
im guna get my catback, install it, then wait save up for LTs and Y |
