The plastic part in the ram air hood that forces the air down anybody cut this out to allow more air in? And how would this effect the car in rain? Thanks guys

I Took Out The Baffles Out Of My Hood Didnt Feel Any Performance Gains. I Have Also Read If You Drive In The Rain Water Could Get Into Your Filter Ect. But I Dont Drive My Car That Much To Worry About That.

I took off the baffle that's closest to the airbox. I drilled out the rivets and put factory looking plastic plugs in there. I didn't feel any difference either. I might have gained a little on the top end though. Who knows. I just know it's getting more air now. I'd say it's very worth doing.
