Default stock manifolds with no cat to LT?

Ok...kinda different question I hope

My current setup is air/egr deleted, factory manifolds, gutted factory I-pipes, SLP Y-pipe to SLP CME with a Flowmaster muffler welded in. Also my car has a custom tune. The rest of the minor mods are in my sig below.

So to the question. How much of a gain...or will there be a gain by going to Jet Hot coated LT's and Y make? Im curious to know how much of the normal HP gained by going to LT's is from removing the restrictive factory cats...which I have already done?

So you have the stock exhaust manifolds, ORY, and Slowmaster in place of the factory muffler? And you want to know how much you would gain by Putting on LTs?

^ Ouch.

In a nutshell, LT's are essential for a buildup (though now we have the CheaTR cam!).

I just wanted to clarify. I was in a similar situation. I was going to do ORY but decided to do the LTs and ORY. I hope to know the differences as well.

Yeah...I guess you could call it an offroad Y. But in reality I would call it stock I-Pipes that I took a hammer and 1/2 drive extension to, to remove the honeycomb inside. Then reinstalled them.

Also...I already have the Headers and Y-pipe and I am going to install them in the next few days. I was just curious what others though I might expect. Then later I will come back and give results. The last time I was at the 1/4(a month ago) I turned a 12.87@110 with the shitty street tires(prostock_bigblock's equivalant). The other 5 runs that night were all in the 12.9x range.

ps...before you ask...I will say it, the cats were clogged and no good before doing this!!!

And thanks for the replies. Now give me a guess and your reasoning for the guess.

Proven to be a rather restrictive catback to most other kinds. Once the mods list grows, it will be more of an issue.
Full bolt-on setups range from 320-350rwhp depending on your drivetrain.
LT's may alter your air/fuel ratio, so a tune would be beneficial to get the most out of it.

I have a friend that tunes the car with a WB. Once the headers are on he will go back over the tune. But I think since it has already been dialed in with the WB. There will not need to be a major change in the tune to support the headers.

I agree that the headers will be required to support future mods.
