Default Help please shoud I drill my New TB?

Hello i just rently got a good deal and installed a 80mm bbk tb on my car today.

The car had a hard time to catch idle. I played with the idle screw and it seem to work a little. But whenever i put the car in gear the car will die. Should i drill a hole in the TB? My car seem to act like this the first time i started it up after i instaled the H/C but after it worked out okay. Should i try it out somore our should i drill a hole in the tb? I think this is streesing my starter the car is dieing out so much lol. I am running a 233/239TSPr2 cam. Also the car made a very loud air sucking noise not sure if it is a leak but i read that it was normal.

Some advice would be great thanks.

I drilled mine out to almost 2 times the size of stock and dropped the idle screw down about 2 turns from flush with the TB. It seemed to work out pretty well after the drilling.

You shouldn't have to drill it. Do a search for "stop drilling" titles only by user "Another_User"

Don't drill the throttle body. It causes a lot of unwanted problems when doing part throttle tuning. It will hang idle if you drill it (most likely)
