Hendricks Machining Ported Throttle Body 1 Attachment(s) I finally got around to porting my throttle body this week. I think it turned out well. I thought about epoxying the holes, but I didn't find what I was looking for to do it with, so I left it be. Took the pic with my cell phone, so it's not that fancy. |
looks good :thumb: |
That's really good. The best thing is that you did the half-shaft mod. It'll really increase part throttle airflow. Now the air wont have to jump the "speed bump" going past the throttle blade. Nice job. :thumb: I wish I knew what Shaner uses to fill the holes. My S-3 came polished inside and the holes were filled, he also used brass tubes set into the epoxy. Shaner has the best stock modified tb's in my book. :judge: |
how do you do the half-shaft mod, i've always wondered about that when i see ported TBs without that part of the shaft.....just never thought to ask until now..... |

Just use a hammer to knock it out. Hit it on the side where the TPS goes (TPS removed of course lol). A washer will come out so dont lose it, its a pain in the a@@ to put the washer back on to but its possible. After you get the shaft out its much easier to work with too. |
