QTP's tuck? Here are my new HVMC LTs on my prokit lowered TA: http://img129.imagevenue.com/loc121/th_8de9e_qtpcan.jpg http://img137.imagevenue.com/loc265/...71_qtpcan2.jpg Here are the preliminary clearances with my 3" catted duals: http://img142.imagevenue.com/loc24/t..._pipes_011.jpghttp://img109.imagevenue.com/loc24/t..._pipes_010.jpghttp://img103.imagevenue.com/loc24/t..._pipes_008.jpghttp://img127.imagevenue.com/loc24/t..._pipes_007.jpg |
Edit: How are they at the header collector? |
First 2 pics... |
|
Prokit is 1.25" I believe |
I ran a catted 3" X-pipe on SLP LT's (very low). And the entire exhaust was nowhere near that low. Your entire floorboard seems very low to the ground. The framerails look very low. |
:( ...and SLP is supposed to be the worst! WTF?! |
^ My piont is, everything looks low. Front 1/4 panel clamp next to the jacking point looks low. Frame rails look low. Your car is low. I don't think the LT's are to blame. True, I defend QTP all the time, but how much room is there between the top of the header collector and the bottom of the floor board? That's where SLP's had a huge gap, hence, that's why they hang low. Also, running a 3" Catted X-pipe on a dropped car is a horrible idea. I'm really sorry. I really am. We're looking at a lot of money in exhaust parts in these pics, and you can't live with that setup the way it is. :( |

I agree though, ive never seen a car that sit that low on a prokit... |
Those thumbnails should be clickable... |
This car is low, it's as low as my car as I have virtually the exact same clearance to the main frame rails. My Hooker headers hang just as low and I haven't had any problems, but I also avoid massive speed bumps and the like. I will try to measure the difference between my Hookers and my soon to go on QTP's with HVMC's. Looks like the main problem on this guys setup is the catted y-pipe. Those cats do hang low  |

There is 3" clearance from the pipe and 2.5" under the cats. Adj. coilovers may be in my future. Honestly this thing didn't scrape anywhere on the road except on those speedbumps leaving Mike's... |

Honestly this thing didn't scrape anywhere on the road except on those speedbumps leaving Mike's... you think those are bad...you should see the ones in my APTs..lol  Id rather see you do adjusable coilovers then anything else...keep the same springs just go with hals on the front...hell...ill trade you for mine on my car man...ive got the prokit on Hals. the car sits more then its driven..lol |
For real!!????!! You're my hero dude! :) That would be the bomb diggy! |
Actually I'd probably need to switch to stock springs tho so the Hals can drop me (a bit). |
You have to be lowered more than an inch. :eek2: I am lowered an inch and have the regular qtp's I have twice the clearance at my cat than you do at your header collector. |
