people with Hooker LT's, question

I just installed my Hooker LT's this weekend, and one problem I am having is the drivers side O2 sensor is pretty much right up against the fuel line heat shield. I banged the shield in a litle, but that makes me nervous since it could be rubbing the fuel lines now...how did you guys solve this problem?

I ended up cutting away some of the shield and had no problems with clearance.

I plan on welding a new bung on the inside part of the header and putting a plug in the outside bung. I had to bend some of the line and stuff to clear for now.

easy fix...bend the heatshield with some pliars...very easy

buddy installed same headers on his 01 T.A. he had same problem. he as well performed some mod's like previous replies here. guess it's normal w/ hooker headers.

I cut the heat shield out. Just a notch. never worked better. Just don't cut your self if you ever have to take it out.
