QTP electric cutout question

Okay guys, quick question.

I installed my switch today. I hooked the hot wire to the aux power source on the driver side of the car, and I connected the ground wire to ground.

Here is my current position. When the switch is in the neutral position, the light is lit - even when the vehicle is off. No matter where I tap this into, the light will be lit when the car is off. Is this thing always supposed to be lit in the neutral position, or only when the ignition is on?

I'm afraid this thing will kill my battery over night. Thanks guys!

I had mine connected (power) to the radio fuse - light stayed lit until I opened the door. Supposed to get power from a "switched" power source.

.. mine is to the TRACTION CONTROL switch...off when key is out.

I fixed it. I just put the hot wire into the "gauges" fuse.

Yep, you just need a switched power source for it. Otherwise it will drain your battery.

i bought a elec cutout used, anyone have wiring diagram or anything? do i just ground 1 wire to the body of the car and 1 i link it to the radio fuse??
