major stalling issues
The issue is, The car runs, and drives fine.. I can do whatever it is I want, step on the clutch, etc, except for when I come to a complete stop. Anyting above 1-2 mph, and the car's fine.
What I have to do, is sit, and feather the gas for ~45-60 seconds, and slowly let off the gas to keep it running. Once I do that, it stays running. Problem ( again ) is, that when you come to a stop light, I can't use the clutch, gas, and brake to keep it running.
The IAC motor seems to work when I pull it out of the TB, and cycle it with the key on/off.
There is no way in hell that I can do a new idle relearn.. took me almost 20 minutes with my foot on the gas on and off to get it to where it's at.
Anyone have an opinion as to what would be causing the problem, and then how to fix it?
Thanks,

The typical fix for this is:
1) remove throttle body
2) Drill out the hold on the TB blade 1/16" larger
3) Thoroughly clean and remove all metal filings from TB. Now's a good time to use that throttle body cleaner.
4) Reinstall TB
5) Drive car about 5-10 minutes, then recheck the IAC count at warm idle. If >30, repeat the procedure and re-test. There's not an easy way to go back, so take very small steps. Use 1/32" bits if that makes you feel better. Once it's less <30 that should help.
I'd also check to make sure your Lid/MAF/bellows/TB seals are all tight, no cracks, etc.
I have a bit of work done to the car.. forged rods and pistons, Stage 2 heads, LT's, and a 228/236 110 cam. I have 32# injectors on the car with a translator, and a PCM tune that still has stock injector sizes.
I'll have a look at autotap when I get a chance.
Can you explain to me why it is that the car will run fine ( normal idle ) for awhile, then start to surge? If I let it be for about 2 mins, it will surge to the point where it will rev to about 2k, then 200-250 rpm's, then it'll stall a couple seconds later.
I'm uploading a sound clip now ( it's not a very good demo of what the cars doing, but, it's a start )
Thank you again,
