FLP's or Grotts or TTS
I like Hookers but thats my 4th choice.
Now which is the best decision for me?
FLP which comes with its own Y and cats which I like because it seems to have a simple method of taking off the cats and putting a short pipe in its place, because in NJ we need them for emissions and police officers
TTS are cool because it comes as a complete set also and from what I read they are good.
Grotts, these are a little more complicated because the Y sucks so I would have to get my own Y and cats(random tech any good?)
Oh yeah headers will probably be my last serious performance mod for a long time....I may and thats a big I may get a heads cam package thingy, but I don't want to read and learn about that stuff because it will just bury my wallet....
So what do you guys think???
Also would my car run too lean or rich or something? I don't know much about that stuff, I don't understand the factors, but would the people installing know what to do? Most likely I would be doing my istalls with Quicktime Performance because they are about 35 minutes from me, but if they are too expensve I would think maybe Cartek, or Zratedmotorsports (from LS1.com), not sure yet there a few F-body places that are forum supporters that are from Jersey
Oh yeah and sorry for it being so damn long....Last thing TC after headers and suspension parts so don't tell me to get a TC instead <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Big stall's are all about what YOU want. I was willing to sacrifice a little to get killer times. A TP-4400 3.73 setup is a great setup IMO. My advise, go with at least a Yank ST-3500 or a Vig 3200. Anything less, you'll be upgrading spending more $$$.
On the street, I run 17x9.5 & 17x11 ZR1's with 315 Nitto DR's on the back. Straight off the street (daily driver mode) my car has went 12.11 @ 111 (1.59)
BTW: Anything can get a warranty canceled... including headers.
On another note, I have installed both tts and flps. The flps were easier to install as I had to hammer part of my driver side floorboard to get the tts in.
