Hooker L/T's on Stock LS1

Would they make my car slower since it is still stock? Also is there tuning that needs to be done after installing them? What should I expect with these on a stock car as far as gains and or losses?

Jason, I don't think it'd be a problm running the Hooker's on your car. You may lose a little in the low end but you'll gain ~20 rwhp overall, I'd definitely get them and put a custom off road pipe, go with a 2.5" unless your planning on a cam and or heads. You should a constant .2-.3 reductionin your ET with these and more than than on the juice <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I agree! I've got the Hooker complete exhaust on my (basic bolt on) SS. I don't plan on doing a cam, nor heads. As for lossing low-end torque ... <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" /> You will gain more on the upper rpms, as compared to the lower rpms. Some people look at that as loosing low-end torque <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> , but it actually stays the same. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Hmm, looking at your sig ... we'd be a good match. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> After you install your headers, and I install my converter we should run them at Carlsbad. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> N/A of course. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Oh, just so you know my setup:
best ET: 13.154 on street tires (I really need to run with my ET Streets, 12.9-12.8 possible)
MPH: 106.25 You got me here, but it's about the hole shot right. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
60': 2.057 street tires again. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
Proposed 'verter: Vig3200.
