shorty's or stock manifolds

Is there really any power difference between the 2?????? if im only going to get 5 horse out of em i dont want to spend the money. Cause i allready have a set of longtubes on my car and i hate them there really not worth the cash. I cant really notice much of a power difference and the ground clearance problems are a pian in the caus ei do have my car lowered........lol But the 3 inch pipe on the driver side is so close to the body it smacks the floor. And this was after i beat the pipe in to get it to work some. The longtubes on these cars almost sound liek u got a 6 cylinder all raspy and stuff like that. But if any one can give me some info on getting a almost stock setup flow good id appreciate it.........and if any one wants a set ofslp lts give me a holla id sell em in a heart beat <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

From what I've heard, there's not much difference. I have Mac Mid lengths and I like them.
