Default A4 guys with UD Pulley

In the Future I want to put on a SLP pulley on my A4... My question is do I need a new tension pulley? Do I need alt. pulley on an A4 car.. Is it a good mod for an A4?

No you do not. If you dont have tons of other items in your car Drawing power then you should not. your car will allways Remain in a open loupe at idle.

I've got one, and no problem. If you're running a big amp or something might want to look into the alt. pulley. No need for a tensioner, but you'll need shorter belts.

My idle speed is at 900-950 rpm. That is with the MS3 and a custom tune. I have had no problems with the SLP pulley.

I had an ASP pulley put on my A4 and I had some problems. You may want to change the alternator pulley, I think that would be a good idea.

When I had the pulley on I noticed that my turn signals were working real slow because my car was discharging at idle speeds. My stock battery went dead after a few months. It also effected my power steering at idle speeds as well, and that's when you need it the most, while parking in tight spots.

Hopefully you won't have the issues that I did. I'm glad I took it off.

Good luck.
