Default march instructions say tighten to 240lbs then loosen & retorque to 37lbs?

i thought it was 240lbs and forget it. these instructions say to tighten to 240lbs then loosen and retorque to 37lbs, then tighten another 1/3 of a turn. they have the proper part # on the instructions(4521).
i actually already have a march on the car i bought from a board member, and ive had a miss when i slam 2nd gear ever since the first test drive. i also have shaking through my shifter at high rpms, im hoping this brand new one fixes these probs.
my hptuner was telling me 170 mifires on cyl #3 & #5, but ive swapped everything from my other wrecked car that has to do with those individual cylinders. any opinions welcome

i dont think its the pulley, but yah 240 then loosen then 37. you seat the pulley with the 240 then you stretch the bolt with the 37 sounds wierd but just think about it.

I am quite sure you are supposed to seat the pulley with the ORIGINAL bolt @ 240ft-lb, then use the NEW bolt and torque it to 37ft-lbs and stretch it 1/3rd of a turn.
