Question Flowmaster 80 series??? 1997 TA

What does anyone think of the flowmaster 80 series for a 1997 trans am with stock pipes. anyones opinion would help...trying to make a decision before tuesday...Thanks

I think they sound GREAT, but I don't like my muscle car sounding like a buzzing import or raspy exotic. I think muscle should sound like muscle.

As for flowing, everybody on this board rags on the Flowmaster saying they're ****. I think goes along with people bitching about SLP lids being crap/ill-fitting. Works for some, not for others.

All I know is that after I went from the setup you are planning on doing (Flowmaster 80 series on stock pipes) to a real catback, that I gained 17 rwhp.

If you can wait, I'd save up and do it right instead of wasting your money and butchering up your stock exhaust.
