Default Steering shaft removal for pacesetters?

Hello yall i may be doing a header install for my neighbor. Does the steering shaft need to be removed on the driver side to slide the headers up? Thanks

I don't know if it is possible to squeeze them in w/o removing it, but if you do remove it, it will make your life sooooooooo much easier. Also it is simple to remove.
