All right I just had a buddy of mine working on my car car and he said to get rid of the EGR and a bunch of other stuff that is not neede to clean up the engine bay. But I dont know what any of that stuff is? I have longtubes and on the passenger side header there is one block off plate but the first port there is some type of pipe going from the header to on top of the intake. (2001 with LS6 intake) He also told me to get rid of some other things but I dont know what they are? Could someone please help me out and some pictures of your engine bays would be spectactular!!! The motor is basically stock besides headers, lid, and descreened MAF. If that helps any Thanks for the help in advance it was greatly needed. Gregg

That sounds like it would make it seamless--and true. I actually don't know what the main components look like either; but here is just a picture on of what came out from my mechanic for re-moving air/egr/stock manifolds:

I've highlighted the component that utilizes the primary EGR place on the intake manifold component. Now, the Z06 intake manifold does not have this provision.
