Just wondering if anybody has the same set-up im goin to have, QTP headers,QTP catted y, SLP loudmouth. I am curious how it sounds.
Good/Bad? And which exh would/does sound good, I know it depends on what I like but just some opinions.

Same setup I have on my car. Sounds very mean, and is loud, as you probably already knew it would be.

Can't wait to see what it sounds like with a 402 huffing thru it

^^Any possibility of getting a soundclip of your exhaust? I've only heard that set up once on ls1sounds. B/C thats the same set up I'm going with. QTP LTs - QTP catted Y - SLP LM =

If my junk wasn't busted, and I had a way of getting a clip on here, I'd do it LOL. I might have a link somewhere to me running it down the track, sounds not too good, and the video shows me doing a nice burnout in the water box, and blowing 90% of first gear away, I'll see if I can find it.

this was my setup before i ditched the QTP y cuz it hung way too low.....switched to custom y with random tech cats cuz they flow better and were smaller than the carsounds so my **** didn't scrape everywhere

I have QTPs, ORY and swapped the bullet from the loudmouth to the Borla XR-1. I'll post clips on Friday.

I have kooks, catted y and loudmouth. I was afraid to start it whne I had the headers put on because some on here said it didnt sound good. When I started it up I fell in love with it. It sounds mean as hell. It s also funny to see people looking over at you since it loud.

^^ lol good to hear. I haven't heard this setup in person yet, but from the 2 clips I've heard, it sounds pretty mean. Can't wait to fire it up when the LTs are on.

I ditched the resonator the first week I had it and put on a bullet.It didn't really quiet it down much but made it sound cleaner.Don't have cats but heres my setup anyway for comparison (QTP 1 3/4 lts,ORY,Dynomouth) http://video.ls1tech.com/video/98621...D0A1F259F0.htm

JL ws6 I think it sounds pretty good, should sound better hopefully, im complimenting my set-up of qtp headers,ypipe, lm with heads and cam so should sound pretty mean.

Thanks, that video was taken when the car had a 224/228 mid 580 lift cam, next time a video gets taken of the car, it will have a 402, afr heads, same exhaust, but a cam in the 244/248 to 246/250 size with 620+ lift and be running thru a Th400... should be a slight change I think

Yeah I would think so, specially larger engine. So you did have a cam and stuff while that soundclip was taken, then so mine shouldnt sound much different?.

Yes, that video was with teh cam, and the headers/catted Y and LM. Car was makign 403 at the tires thru the 12 bolt and steel driveshaft at the time, 3700 raceweight ( my 275lbs doesn't help that )
