TR6's for a bolton car...... What Gap should I run these plugs at for a bolton car .050? I couldnt find TR55's at any local parts stores. Thanks. |
Are you useing the juice? I have tr6's gaped at .035 but that is with a blower. Someone else might chime in but .050 would probly be fine on a N/A application. |
i got mine gapped at .o50, you check napa? they got the tr55 for like 1.60 a peice |
I went to NAPA, Advance, and Autozone. None of them had TR55's. I am running NA. |
umm i think advanced doesnt carry them at all, either them or autozone, but napa should have been able to order them and be there in like a day or two, if not those tr6s are fine, like the other guy said the juice guys usually run those and they gap them smaller. |
I work at a napa, and we do carry them. NAPA has there own part number for them, i'm at lunch right now i'll try and get that number this afternoon and post it. |
Use them I have for the past year because I thought I was getting a kit and then didn't.They won't hurt anything and I have mine gapped at "35. |
.050 is too far for the gap on those. Spark plug's should only go +/- 10 on the gap from what they are sold as. You could get the TR5 and run a .045 gap, sometime that plug is more readily available. |
NAPA Part No. - NGK 3951 |
I have my TR6s gapped at .045. |
