I think I did mine right after yours slick. It worked out well but I didnt have all the sanding attachments you did and I couldnt find that plumbers epoxy. I used JB Weld and I know I can trust the stuff through the whole range of temps and I know it wont fall off, but man was this a hassle. It got in every little crack But check it out, after alot of work it turned out very nicely.

I did something similar using a marine-grade epoxy called Marine-Tex; don't know if they still make it but it works at high enough temperatures that I was able to fill in AIR ports in a cylinder head with it that lasted the life of the car.
Nice smooth work you guys did - how many hours did it take?
How much improvement did you notice? Actually, what other mods do you have?

My mods are:
Vig. 3200
3.73
LS6 intake
Direct flo lid
MAC headers and X-pipe
Hammer cam
and ported TB
I ran a 11.60 @ 115.4
with a 1.53 60ft.
And my best 60ft being a 1.52 which I got today ,But I hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift. But still mananged to get a 11.61 out of it.

I say do a ported TB,every little bit helps

Oh yeah,It took me about an hour to do.

If you've got free time this is worth it. I notice more power towards the top of the band. I also got my best 1/8th after doing it mods:
!FRA, lid, TB Bypass, TB stop, port/polish/epoxy TB, !backseats

got a 2.0 60' on GS-C's with an 8.5@84mph on the 1/8
