Default TSP True duals hitting tranny crossmember

I'm trying to put on my true duals but they are hitting the crossmember. I think it's because I have an LT1 with jethot headers that have a 3 bolt flang, and I put on short header extensions since the tsp true duals are a 3-bolt flange design. Would it hurt anything if I notch the crossmember at all?

The outside edge, and about 1 inch into the sides. The LT1's have a different style crossmember, its just stampes steel with a curve on the edges, it doesn't have the top plate like the LS1's do.

I wasnt aware that the TSP True duals worked with LT1s. I guess i should have figured since all fourth gens have basically the same undercarriage.

I think I can get them to fit, the only thing I see that I had to do was buy header extensions since I don't have slip fit headers, and one side seems to be about 6" too long before the x-pipe, so I can just cut the pipe I guess.

Those should be easier to get the duals to hook up to since they are slip fits. I'll post pics when I get the install done.
