Lingenfelter intake...good or not?

Default Lingenfelter intake...good or not?

lookin at a WS6 with a lingenfelter intake on it...and nothing else...kinda weird but its free lol....is this intake any good as opposed to a FAST one or something of similar nature?

From what I've heard, it heat soaks compared to the LS1/LS6 intakes. I hope that Lingenfelter intake isn't on an 01-02 car

nah its on an 00....any diffrenence?

yeaaaa, what IS the difference? did u say that because of the EGR emissions crap? or u referring to something else?

They work great for forced induction. Even allow a bit more porting-polishing. Heat soak is a over rated issue.

If it,s on there I would leave it. If its not the polished unit you can polish it as well for a nice bling effect.

Buy it. I have it on my 2002 Firehawk. Compared to the LS6 I traded for it pulls better down low and the high rpm feels the same. The heat soak issue is bs. You'll lose *maybe* 3 hp off a 500 hp engine.

I dunno bout that but I just got my BBK Intake Manifold and can't wait to put it on. It is going to heat soak and steal 10100010 hp, or so I've heard.

I have one on my forged LS6 348cid with a BBK 80mm TB very nice intake pic in sig. ,But i ordered a FAST 90mm intake and a Holley 90mm TB for my new LS2 418 cid.
