Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? I just happend to be looking around today, and found these. They look really good, as do the different y-pipes they offer. They offer either ORY's or cat y-pipes, in either 2-1/2" to 3", or 3" to 3-1/2". Nothing like having options huh? Anyways, here's the link: PPC LT"S |
Re: Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? Noone? They're obviously a copy of the Grot's, but the y-pipe looks much better than the old Grot one. I don't believe these are the QTP's either. |
Re: Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? Those LTs look REALLY good. A bit on the expensive side and I think I'd ratehr go with FLPs for that price but those PPCs look they are a very good quality. Nobody else has heard of them either? |
Re: Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? Just to clarify, QTP's Y-pipe isn't the old Grott Y. It's MUCH nicer! |
Re: Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? A few points about these headers... I do not see on their site where they currently offer a 3-3.5" Y-pipe. I see where they have it TBA. Looking at their pics I notice that they appear to be very similar to QTPs but I'm not sure they're quite the same. Take a look at the driver's side header. QTP's Now, PPC's See the first primary on the left? It appears to be longer and straighter on the QTP. Now, look at the third tube from the left. It appears to have a sharper bend at the bottom (more restrictive) on the PPC. If you look at the driver's side they appear to be closer but still, the QTP looks to me to be just a little bit straighter and a little bit longer. Maybe it's just the camera but that's what it looks like to me. What about price? Looks about the same. $799 gets you either header. Y-pipes are $299 on the one hand for a 2.5" Y and $310 on the other for a 3" Y. I think I'd pay the extra $11 and get the 3" Y. [ November 22, 2002, 12:47 PM: Message edited by: Colonel ] |
Re: Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? In case anyone was wondering, here's a pic of the Y: |
Re: Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? Good points Colonel. Just to clarify, I in no way am endorsing these headers, or trying to promote them, I was just wondering if anyone had heard of them, because I never have. |
Re: Has anyone heard of PPC LT's?? The primary you are talking about seems to come straight off the flange where the FLP one seems to come off the flange and an angle. ERic |
