Help on eliminating rattles from FLP's

Ok, I was told to use heater hose, but when I went down to my local autopart store (Oreilly and Autozone) they told me that the exhaust is going to get way too hot for the hose and will immediately melt it. So what do I do. Oh and the biggest hose they had was 1". Is that gonna be big enough even if I slit it. Will the header wrap keep the hose from melting. Need 100% sure answers, cause I dont want to melt any hoses to my exhaust.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I just had my FLP'S installed last week and haven't had any problems. Maybe that's because I had FLP do them.
Here is a link, maybe it will help you.
