Is removing the AIR system worth it?
Since you're already taking the EGR off, you won't be smog legal anyway so I'd keep the AIR system off. (Oh, you will need to delete the AIR codes unless you want the light on, though)

After I disconnect the AIR pipes from the manifolds and disconnect the pump, the hoses will be able to be pulled out correct? I can't really see where they go after they go towards the firewall...

Unbolt them from the manifolds. Pull out those tubes from the rubber hoses. Take off the driver side panel under the front end. Unbolt the pump itself and disconnect the hoses from it. Pull the hoses out from the top and the pump out from the bottom. 5 minute job

Also earlier it was said that the car won't be smog legal anymore and you have to delete the codes so that the SES light won't come on. Now would the car still pass emissions because in my state all they do is hook up to your gas tank and OBD computer and if no codes are thrown then you pass emissions. Anybody know if they can tell if codes have been deleted???

Good question.....Can they tell if you've edited your car???

They shouldn't be able to tell if you deleted codes.

1> Can I just use block off plates (where do ya get those plates?) where they went into the engine or do I have to remove the pump.
Better yet can I cut the tubes off and plug the lines.
2> If I have to remove the pump do I just plug the hoses with a bolt?
3> Anything else I need to be warned about
Dont wanna mess anything up so I ask.
Thanks,
