Whos got headers, no cats, and a GMMG "chambered" cat back??
What does that combo sound like???? I have heard it on stock Berger cars, but never on a car with headers and no cats.
Any soundclips? Any opinions?

I have the GMMG, no headers yet. I decided to put it on hold till i decide what to do about cats. I heard a GMMG with cats and Longtubes and it sounded amazing. Then I heard one with an ORP and it sounded like ***. Still the best sounding Catless exhaust, but it lost that refinement, and sounded raspy. So I am shopping for Longtubes with cats, except I want Grotts or Hooker/Jet Hot, and the don't make Y's with cats.......yet.

I should add though, that 5 years ago I would have loved the sound of the ORP/Longtube GMMG. I love hella loud exhausts, but for my daily driver I want really loud but refined. If you like exhaust to sound like the roar of God, you'll like it.

Drove my car for 2 days with no cats and will never look back. Sounded unrefined, with no cats there is the gas smell, it drones pretty bad around 2300 rpms, and to me its seemed like I lost the original sound of the GMMG.
Had the cats welded on and love it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Quiet when you want it and when above 3000 rpms it screams.
There is a thread on here with a sound clip of my set-up.
