loudmouth with cutout
loudmouth with cutout I have a 98 camaro ss with the m6. I was already have the loudmouth exhaust and was wondering if it would sound any different with a cutout before the cat. Most people say it wont sound any different but I thought it would. Give my your opinions on this. If anyone has any sound files , let me know.
Re: loudmouth with cutout Isnt this where it is on a 98 ls1. I cant remember where it is. I Know the drivers side is in the vertical next to the engine. I cant remember where the passenger side is. Any one got any answers, Please reply. Im not really sure if I can fit one before the passenger side cat or does it have to be after it?

Re: loudmouth with cutout that would give you absolutley no gain, no advancement in sound and would be a waste of money. the loudmouth is basicly straight pipes as it is, except for the fact of the resonator.
Re: loudmouth with cutout I could just put it after the cats. I just wanted to know if I put a cutout on will it be worth it with the loudmouth. Will it be any louder and will I gain any power or should I just wait and get some headers?

Re: loudmouth with cutout I have a 98 Z and trust me there is no way you can put a cutout before the cat on the driverside......the actual cat bolts up straight into the manifold vertically at an angle....the pass. side however has the cat right below the floorboard midway with some space available before the cat....but you don't want to mess with only one!....try a cutout on the I pipe which is where i have one and most people on here recommend that....unless you go with headers or offroad pipes!!
