Default Stealth Owners

I still have the stock lid/airbox setup, and have finally gotten around to looking for something better. The recent post here regarding cracked lids, fitment issues, and all of the same negative issues which seem to surround most lids have made me leery about getting ANYTHING, all the while knowing how restrictive the factory piece is. My question goes to the Stealth owners, as this is the item which I want to go with at this point. Any fitment issues or other issues which would make you rethink your purchase? Cost does not really matter to me as the only things I am considering doing to the car performance wise until I pay it off are the cat-back (check. got the GMMG), and the lid/airbox mod. The ftra and supersucker stuff is out of the question, I don't want to even worry about any issues in a deluge downpour rain event. Thanks in advance for your comments suggestions.

I've had no problems with mine. Install was easy and straight forward. Fitment is great. I'd buy it again if I had to do it over.

I notched the rubber bellows a little on each side of the MAFS so they would slide completely on. It was very simple to install, gave a noticeable power gain, and looks nice.

My stealth lid simply doesnt fit when it comes to where it puts the mass air flow sensor in comparison with the throttle body.

If you do decide to buy one get it with a warranty in case yours turns out to be a POS like mine.

For every bad story about a lid.. there are literally hundreds that haven't had any issues.

The stealth is not worth nearly $100 more than a regular aftermarket lid.. hehe for the price you could by 2.

I've had the SLP lid for almost two tears, no cracking, fitment, etc. issues and the finish looks stock and matches the rest of the components.

We tested one at the shop and the fit was horrible, not to mention it lost 3rwhp over a Whisper lid. Save your money and get a regular lid like a Whisper, Direct Flow, or MTI. They are all about the same...
