MSD's and Kooks???
 

I put on my new msd wires last night. but the front two boots sit right against my LT's??? I have the stock metal boot wraps arround the msd rubber boots coming off the plugs...

Is this normal, or do I have a problem here???

If you have a universal set with the straing spark plug ends you can bend them up to 45 degrees.

the boot coming off the plug itself can bend? The boots coming off the pack have bends in them, but the boots from teh plug end are just straight, and about 4" 's long

I just installed these last week with no problem along with my Kooks. They're some sweet looking wires, no bending needed on my setup though.

THat's wierd... my two front plugs on the passenger side sit RIGHT against the tubes.....

same engine... same tubes... same wires.... so what makes me so special?

Well, I bolted the wires on right out of the box. Do you have the ends that go onto the coils oriented right? Maybe you're getting some binding or twisting out of them?

I dont think I have them bent... if you want/can take a picture of yours I'll double check mine... I looks like they pretty much sit against the tubes becuase they are SO close to the plug... it just does'nt have any where else to really go

Sorry no pics, I'm in Iraq right now, they should click twice when they're completely seated though, I remember that, the boot should also cover all of the ceramic.

anyone else? I'm wondering if the wrong wires got sent to me or something... something does'nt seem to be working here, unless I'm just missin something obvious

How about you post a pic for us so we can see what you're talking about. All of the plug wires are the same length.

I dont have a digital camera.... BUT I will try and borrow one
