SLP and it fit great at first when it was just the lid. I soon added the entire Cold-Air kit from SLP and when I pulled the shroud apart I noticed that the douchebag that had the car before me tried the free ram-air mod and completely butchered the underside (looked like he tried to melt it off or something) So once I put the duct in there were some real air leak problems

but I sealed them up and then started to have some rubbing issues, but just trimmed the foam sealing tape I added and now it fits great.

i had a mti clear lid that cracked and they refused to replace. Looked great but now i have the slp and it fits perfectly, no complaints.

SLP and rubs the hood, i do have the bellow so that maybe a reason. Other than that fits great and looks awesome smoothed and painted.

How is it that the same SLP folks are having good/bad fitment issues? I know it is the #1 selected...Installer Error or what? Didn't GMHP tests show the Granatelli Unit to offer the highest HP & TQ though it didn't arrive in time for the drag test? I am buying my first lid this month on lS1SPEED.COM I was HOPING this forum would help...I am really leaning toward the MTI clear housing OR an SLP...don't really care for the SLP logo on their unit but I hear you can sand it all down some how/paint it. You tell me what your opinion is on fitment issues. Close the sale on me!
