i have mac mids so getting #8 from the bottom is a nogo. I just take the whole passenger side coil rack off...it is really easy. But there is 1 bolt on the back of the coil rack that took me 30 mins to get out, needless to say i didnt put that one back in there on the reinstallation

swivel socket, I get em all off,all from the top in less than 1hr without removing anything except the EGR hose on the pass side.

i would not put bosch plugs on m car. i have seen many bosch plugs mess with peoples cars. i only put ngk on my car. if you have any problems thats the first thing to check. good luck

p.s. headers make it so easy from the bottom.

The best way I have found is to do like TheBlurLS1 said; put the plug socket on the spark plug and use a closed end wrench ( 3/4" I think). It is a hell of a lot easier than using a swivel/socket/ratchet combo. Too bad it took me almost 45 mins to figure this out

Mac mids here too. took me about 2 hours including header bolt check. So much easier if you take out both coil packs. I had more trouble with dam front driverside dew to the abs lines coolant plug and air plug. #8 was probably the easiest for me.

#8 I ALL WAYS did from under the car on a jack stand. I couldn't see the plug, just put the socket on it first then attach the ratchet. NO problem at all. My arm isn't real small either. It should take about a hour total, all 8. 1-7 from the top. I used a swivel ratchet.
