If you have headers you need 13111's

I finally got tired of seein the o2 ses codes so I dropped in the some new bosch 13111's. I new that since my fronts weren't reading correctly it would affect performance, but holy crap. It's like driving a new car all over again and no ses light! If you're doin headers don't even bother with extensions and stockers, with these things you don't need extensions and they have better heaters so no more check engine light.

How much are they and where did you pick them up at?

wondering the same thing, LT's coming soon, but i'm on a tight budget

smg267 Aug 3, 2006 09:11 AM

Hahah That is the same police code for failure to obey a posted sign in PA! :judge: I was like there is no way in hell :jest: I got pulled over driving "upwards of 90" on 95 on Sunday driving home from DE after buying my longtubes. I saw him like 2000 feet behind me in the SUV. I was like FUCK! I am done and i put on the hazards and pulled myself over before he even turned the lights on. I just yes sired the hell out of him and saved my license and like $400 and god knows what else! He was like what is in the plastic bags in the back? I was like headers sir. HE was like to make your car go faster? :eyes: He told me to slow the F' down and drive safe.

I planned to get those when I ordered the headers. I don't want any problems/SES lights when I put them on.

I have the QTP LTs, QTP catted-Y, GM AIR and manifold gaskets, and the 13111's. Now I'm just waiting on the O2 sims and some NGK TR55's before I put it all together.

Here's to hoping it'll be straight Plug-N-Play. (Probably won't be, but I can hope.)

Gearhead1 Aug 3, 2006 10:35 AM

Yeah, it's amazing how many "hiccups" a new pair of O2's can cure.

STANG KILLA SS 2 Aug 3, 2006 10:43 AM

hmm ive fought O2s for YEARS with my long tubes... i wonder what PN mine are....

I got mine @ Autozone Houston for around 75bills but they usually carry only one in stock so call ahead. Just waiting to put my Kooks LTs and SS catted y along w/13111s.

Which sponsor is that? I'm tired of pimping the site I usually tell people. I had no idea any sponsors had them.

nokeman Aug 3, 2006 06:44 PM

Id like to know aswell.

BriancWS6 Aug 3, 2006 07:35 PM

I have them as well, got em at Advanced Auto.

Rothman Aug 3, 2006 08:26 PM

I picked mine up at the local napa. They are pricey at about $70 a pop but, it's WELL worth the money. Strongly recomend them.

NHRAMAN Aug 3, 2006 08:39 PM

I was advised to use them and no probs with any 02 codes after 5000 miles. :judge:

Why not just tune them out? Then you don't have to worry about it.

You can't tune out the front 02s. :jest:

HD1911 Aug 3, 2006 10:30 PM

i am glad you dont need them for MAC mids...that would have been another 120 bucks. My stock front ones just barely reach, i mean just barely

SSRZ28 Aug 3, 2006 11:22 PM

well then you are one of the lucky ones....I installed my pacesetters and ory a week ago and extended the o2's myself(yes I did it right, I even double checked them) and my car ran like complete garbage....multiple misfires, running SUPER RICH, im talking like 2mpg, and I thought no way it could be my o2's, i thought it was a bad plug or wire but I went n bought the 13111's and it was a whole new car and it actually ran like it should, I would say they are a must with any lt header install :judge:
