use the e-brocks and have you some cats welded into it...Magnaflow makes some new ones now that are 8" long...They fit nice...Or build you a custom y with cats in it...either way, youre silly for adding cats..

Why "silly"? maybe he doesnt want the rasp( if your going with a y pipe). Thats the reason I keep mine. Everyone is in a different situation.

No i have emiissons testing here and i want to keep it clean to pass. I dont care about the noise i would rather run the ory but its not clean enought i dont think

KrazyDan Aug 7, 2006 07:30 PM

Same reason I kept my cats.

Or... keep cats, add a cut-out. Best of both worlds.

ANyone out there with edelbrock 65683's can u get them in black paint? Anyone cut the air tubes off and have holes filled? I dont want emissions stuff but i dont want those slip ons either.

i have the same ones because i didnt like the slip on ones. hsw put block off plates with stainless bolts on mine and they actually dont look bad

I have the coated EDEL.lt's with air and egr and their ORY, there is plenty of pipe to put cats in......I might do it eventually with some Magnaflows....

He is 100% correct. I have the Edelbrocks and a Dynomax Ultra Flo catback and have no rasp at all.

Do you have it in the i-pipe ???

Rob98LS1 Aug 10, 2006 08:44 PM

I have the Edelbrock LTs and am looking to put in cats on their ORY as it is way too raspy for my tastes... has no tone, just a shit load of noise.
