Gutted stock 2001 F-body MAF

I'm running SD, but I need to maintain stock appearance, does anyone have a gutted and/or broken MAF they want to get rid of...?

Please pm me.

SD...?
Speed Density, running MAF-less, getting airflow/airmass from VE table only;
but I need a gutted MAF (no sensor element, no screen, but able to plug in MAF wire connector) to look stock for CA smog visual inspection.

Thanks to all for replying.

Can you get a stock housing and run it that way? I just don't understand I guess. You aren't going to be plugged into the MAF sensor so does it matter if it looks non-SD?

The car has to pass visual inspection meaning all the plugs and emmission control items need to be in place before the inspection is done.

Orange,

Yes, it does matter in CA  , they check for presence of MAF sensor if car came with it.

And the CHP has been pulling people over and looking under their hood, and a large hose will just look too inviting to them.

Ahhh, I didnt know that it was an emissions thing. So you need to be visually pleasing and still be able to stay SD. I gotcha man.

Yep, you got it, that's exactly it.

Joe - MAF is on it's way. It is functional, but was a severly bastardized unit. It's an excellent candidate for a gutting.

TA,

Thanks mate, I appreciate it, I'll have fun gutting it.

descreened and butchered air foil. Just need need to remove the elements and smooth out the interior

TA,

I see it, 90% of the work has already been done.

Thanks,
