Default Change front driver and passenger 02 sensors?

2001 trans am, stock manifolds. What methods and tools did you use to get the front o2's off? The passenger side I'm clueless on how to get this off. I'm in the middle of trying so any help would be appreciated!

Not sure the size of the wrench you need, test fit a few on the rear 02's. Been a long while since I been under a car with stock manifolds, prolly wanna drop the Y pipe to get easier access to them. You'll need a 10 mm (I believe) socket for the 3 Y pipe/manifold bolts on each side and at least a six inch exstention. (if you go from the bottom)

Believe it's a 21 or 22 mm wrench. Just use the open end and a little elbow grease.

What I did to get mine off was unhook the o2 connectors, and them dropped them out of the car. Then used a wrench to get them off. But I wasn't reuseing the stock manifolds, I was installing my headers.

I still don't see how any of you get the passenger side front off of stock manifolds without dropping the crossmember or convertor. Nothing allows fitment on the threads b/c of these two parts. I'm still not going to a mechanic and pay top dollar just to take these out in 2 minutes. There has to be a way people changed the fronts on stock manifolds, mainly the passenger side. Anyone else want to chime in and give a method to your madness on how you did this?

A 7/8" wrench is what I always use on o2's. Be sure to disconnect the connector first.

yes this is a pretty simple operation here... sit back, take a breath, or a chug of beer, and look at it for a minute and wrench that **** out
