I'm confuse!!!

So our car came out of the factory running rich right? T/F

This is what I'm confused about...

Adding headers on the car will it make it run richer or leaner?

I've got a pro tuner with HPtuner told me its gonna lean it (he'd seen it leaned the car) and I've heard guys telling me its going to make the car run richer that I'll lose power.

LT's will make it run richer.

Yeah, that's what I thought initially too, but a certain HPtuner users told me that it will make it leaner. Is there like a dyno of headers A/F ratio w/o a tune and after?

True me and a buddy were just talking about thgat the other day. Yes it comes from the facotry running rich..

And yes running LTs will make it only run richer.. That is why after a LT isntall it is best to get a tune. that is what i will do once i get the LTs.

BTW running richer is better.. ONLY b/c you will not blow up the car. running lean will blow the car up. puts holes in the pistions

If you have a quick laptop computer, buy yourself "hptuners." You can tune your money pit for all conditions. Part/full throttle, you can keep going up on spark advance until you find your limit (whether it's N/A, Nitrous, Boosted  ), fans, eeeevverything!

hptuners... much better than a dyno which only briefly does Wide Open Throttle tuning. :eyes:

Actually i have been told it depends on whether you used stock 02's or 13111 bosch's...had mine hooked up after a month of driving around and it was fine--i used the bosch's.
