Ok, so I had my cats cut out, and had pipes welded in their place, do the SES codes that this sets off in anyway impair perfomance or efficiency? Can I just run the car with the SES on w/o any problems?

Yes, taking cats off and taking the guts out of the cats is the samething- there is nothing there to convert the gas and the rear O2's will pick it up.

Thanks Bo, I realized that, I was just wondering if I have to get O2 sims as I wasnt sure if the SES code triggered by that caused any driveability issues, i.e. does it send it into limp home mode?

not at all, but you won't pass inspection with the light on.... if you have inspection.

Only bad thing with a constant SES light is it won't alert you to something else going on unless you constantly check it. I'd get SIMS or have the codes turned off.
