Gains w/ LT's
 

just wondering what people around here pick up wit L/T install dyno proven, with or without a tune.

do you even need a tune for headers?

you shouldn't "need" a tune but it will richen the car up. to get the most out of it you would want a tune. but if you are going to do something major like a cam/heads swap then you may as well wait until then to get a tune.

I personally gained nothing with LTs and ORY through a cutout (see sig) but i had the LS6 cam with relatively stock tunning for all of my mods.

well from the factory these cars need a tune. :eyes: i know mine does.

They can definitely benefit from one.

i just changed my spark tables, and fuel trim and my car woke up

so with no tuning for a little bit, it wont make a difference in power gains while its untuned?

It varies. But not by hardly anything,
