Jet hot's version of cats.

I bought my car w/ jet hot headers and found out that they have cats inside the y-pipe. WTF! Anyone else have this. I want to tune my car and I don't have money in my budget to !cats. If i do keep these in how much of a difference would it be in power. Would i lose 1-3hp? Thanks

1-3 HP at the most, I would just keep them, their probally hi flow cats and you wont notice a difference, you could just gut them all it would really do it make your car louder.

I just bought the same thing and in the box with the cats, came a tube the same exact size as the cats. If you still have the box you should have them..

You don't have to buy any additional parts. When I received my Jet-Hot ypipe the inserts were missing and I had to call Jet-Hot to get them to send them too me. On a side note: Do yourself a favor and buy band clamps to put your ypipe together, it makes it look so much cleaner than when you use the u-clamps
