? about running straight off the LT's

I was just wondering if i would be ok to drive about 20-25 miles to the exhaust shop on just the LT's so he doesnt have to deal with taking the previous exhaust off.

ok cool thanks :) Ill look forward to what that sounds like, lol

For a short distance...shouldnt hurt anything. It might play with your 02's a bit if fresh air gets in there from the back side. Just keep on the gas a bit. But all in all you should be good. Dont be surprised if your car does a couple funny things. But it wont damage anything

Ok ill look out for that. Thanks

it really depends if you get up in the rpm's and drop off quick your car might backfire. I broke my exhaust in my neon at the end of the manifold and it backfired coming down from anything over 3000 rpm if i let completely off the throttle. Just don't be a jackass and go all the way up (~6000 rpm's) in a gear and let off i know for a fact that when i ran the quarter in my neon !exhaust and i let off at the end the car backfired nearly 10 feet past my back bumper. I wish i still had the video but i lost the computer to flooding. Oh yea and you will lose hp with no backpressure.

just my .02 from experience in a much smaller, shittier car.

Well i dont really care if i lose hp for 1 day :). Looks like it might get delayed till the 10th or 17th of november tho cause im gonna put on a trans am bumper first so he can put the tips in the right spot and not have to do it over later.
