what would you guys expect from this setup... i have y pipe, no cats, LT headers, ms4 and magnaflow catback system, how loud do you think my car would be not loud medium really loud, im asking cuz i use to have Lm exhaust with my ms4 without the resonator it was 2 freaking loud so i took it off and i put the resonator back but it has this drone sound so i took it off and i decided to get the magnaflow sytem and when i got it installed i felt like my car doesnt have that sound that i was expecting i dont have a clip sound or anything but i was expecting a lot louder sound, when it idles it sounds ok its when i hit the gas is its like i have stock camaro is this natural for magnaflow catback system? cuz i went to ls1 sounds and my car doesnt sound anything like those cars any input guys...oh and its ms4 with 112LSa

i have a 2001 nbm camaro ss, (ms4 111 lsa, prc stg 2.5 heads, lt's, no cats etc..) i'm currently running the random technology catback. it does not sound like a stock camaro ever. also the magnaflow shouldn't sound like a stock camaro. trmin8r had the magnaflow originally with his ms3, sounded great.

did you have a noticeable loss in power when you put the magnaflow on? could have some restriction in the muffler. defective maybe, i've never heard of a defective muffler but who knows. try to post a few different sound clips.

actually believe it or not i felt i gain hp but when i step on the gas i dont hear anything it idles like it has a big cam its just when i step on it you cant really hear anything
My friend has Jet Hott lt's, no cats and a stock cam. His car definately doesn't sound stock. 
Give it some time to break in. I think the insulation in the muffler burns off a little. When he gets on the throttle I can hear his car in my house with the windows closed and the TV on.
