Default At about 500rwhp, how much hp will magnaflow cats rob?

What is the CFM rating on the cats used in the pacesetter y-pipe?
I am planning a H/C build-up(around 430rwhp) and a 100 shot.
How much of a restriction would these cats be compared to having no-cats at this rwhp number?
If the cats are the ceramics from magnaflow, I might get the metallic cats from magnaflow (about 570cfm) and just have them added into the pacesetter ORYP, but I'm afraid even these will limit the rwhp when used in conjunction with pacesetter LT's and Hooker cat-back.
Any opinions or even better, real test results would be great!!!!
Thanks, James.

how would this help? the cutout goes after the cats.

on a 500rwhp setup? beats me, but i'm sure the ceramic ones would be a bottleneck. now the metallic ones, that's a different story.

I have Kooks LT's with hi flow cats and can honestly say that there is maybe a 3 hp difference without the cats. Not enough to worry about.

Looks like the kooks have the magnaflow metallic spun cats.

I am really wanting to find out the cfm rating for the cats that come with the pacesetter catted y-pipe, maybe I'll just email Jason and ask.
I have had NO cats on my previous LS1 TA and now I want to keep cats for additional noise control and not worrying about police. I'm probably one of the few on this board that mind waking up my neighbors, as I have been the person being woken up.
I guess if it comes down to it, I'll just cut the high-flow metallic cats, that I had installed on my MAC y-pipe off and put them into the Pacesetter ORYP.
At 570cfm/cat they should support over 600hp.
If the cfm rating on the pacesetter catted y-pipe is close, I would rather just buy the catted-y and not worry about paying more for the cutting/welding.

I'm not looking for opinions on cats or no cats. I am really looking for real world data.

Because the fine for no cats can get pretty high in some pollution controlled cities, they don't rob that much power, and you aren't "cheating" if you run a street legal set-up (like cheater slicks vs no cheater slicks).

Plus it is better for the environment and you can throw that in the RX-7/8's crowds face when you pull up in a car that weighs a 1/2 ton more, makes one-hundred more horsepower, and gets better mileage and has half the emmissions.

Nothing is better than mentioning how a GTO or F-body gets so much better gas mileage than a RX-7 or 8.
