Default In the middle of Pacesetter Header Install.. How do I remove the damn dipstick??

My SS is over my boy and fellow member here wilwhite2kss's house. Everything was going good for the most part until we got to removing the passenger side stock header because of the damn dipstick I did a search and even went to LS1howto.com and couldn't find to much help. Do we just yank on this damn thing or pull it straight up? Any help would be appreciated.

You need to remove the bolt and then pull it out. The bolt is 15mm, IIRC.

There are five bolts that hold it down to the valve cover. The last one is a PITA so when you put them back on, for future mods, dont put those ones in the back on again....

Well I learned the hard way on my 99 B4C. There are 5 bolts. The 1st couple of bolts you can get with a 10 deep socket. The the last 2 i used a open 10mm wrench. The 4th one sucks ***. You cant even see it. You just have to feel around for it and then use a open end wrench and loosen it.

Also like stated once you get them all off and are ready to put them back on only put like the 1st 2 or 3 back on so you don't have to deal with them again
