Justin00SS your numbers seem a little off to me.
You only keep bringing up a difference in net gain ... dyno queens and ricers do that.
The major benefit LTs have over the mids is how the power is under the curve.

And Hennytime already purchased the mids.
This thread is about how to hook up his Y-pipe to his I-pipe.
You guys should take this discussion to a new thread or PM.

It was just an example. Different people may gain more or less.

LTs flow more then mids. This is fact and should be well known.

They flow better then mids on a stock heads/cubes car and will flow better on an upgraded heads/aftermarket car.

Mids/shorties are for people who want something better then stock but still want to stay emissions legal. Other then that there really is no point to them.

ur mister no it all arent ya...i have a compareisent of a lt car with the same cam set up i have puting down less hp than mine...and i have talked to a few tuners and dyno guys about it and they say its about a 5-8 hp dif give or take... its scavaging plain and simple.

its allot better than stock....you cant compare stock manifolds to mac mids theres defently a defrence.

hell if i had a 6speed i would be around 420rwhp with the macs....
