Chambered with O/R Y and LT's? Ok so I currently have pacesetter longtubes, an offroad y pipe and the loudmouth catback. I have a moroso muffler which I was planning on putting in place of the resonator. I have a guy interested in trading me a classic chambered muffler for my moroso. I am curious if anyone has any experience with a chambered muffler with longtubes and an offroad y or maybe any soundclips. I am just wondering how it would sound.....thanks. :) |
i think it's the same as having the gmmg. |

Here is a couple of clips I took a while ago. It sounds pretty close to the LM set up, it has a bit lower tone- though not much. It was a bit of a hassle getting it to mate to the I-pipe, so beware. I used the 16" and think I should have gone longer, but I'm gonna switch to TD's anyhow and get another one. The price is right and they have a true 3" center. http://media.putfile.com/powerstick-idle; http://media.putfile.com/powerstick-rev |
I'm probably going to do a setup within the next few months that involves putting a Powerstick 18" in the I, and one mounted transversely where the stocker goes. That ought to mellow it down a little bit. I'll post up all the info when I do it, as well as video/sound clips. Of course, I will be installing dual cutouts for the track. :drive: |
Check the link in my signature, tons of info. |
Ok well now I have a big ass cam coming and I was really don't want to do a completely different catback so if I run a chambered in place of the resonator and then do another one where the muffler normally is would that help out a bit? |

thanks.....sorry for all the questions, lol. What would be an ideal size for the one to go where the stock muffler goes? |

anything will sound diff or better than lm1 because of what the lm1 is i have it on my car and i love it but i want something different and i'm going to go with the longest powerstick i can fit under there. |
