Also without moving what I’m guessing is a pipe for the radiator that sits just in front of the pulley. Is this possible? Anyone done this before? I live in an apartment complex and working on my car in the parking lot is a pita.

removing the entire intake track is literally the 2 clips on the front of the airbox and the screw for the coupler to the throttle body. Keep the lid, bellow, MAF, coupler together. Unplug the AIR tube on the lid, MAF , IAT, TPS, IAC connectors and set the whole thing aside so you can access the power steering and have some room. What I'm talking about should take less than 1 minute.

I believe I had to move the fans out of the way to get the installer tool to fit in that space. The hose can be moved and is secured by a clamp that is attached to the fan assembly and the airbox takes 1 minute to take off.

Ive uninstalled and reinstalled without using a pulley puller. Just left it installed and got to the 3 bolts with varying open wrenches/sockets and pulled it as one.

If you have the stock solid pulley, to remove the PS pump you need to remove that. To use a pulley puller, you need to move or remove the radiator hose in the way, at least I have always drained the radiator 1/2 way to remove the hose. The solid pulley doesn't allow access to the 2 bolts for the PS pump itself, and though there's side access to the bolts, for all intents it's essentially impossible for most mortals. You need the pulley off. If nothing else you will wish GM put holes/spokes in the pulley for bolt access, or you buy the Turn1 pulley instead for future ease of replacement.
From my experience there's no need to remove the fan or fan shroud attached behind the radiator. The hose clip on the backing shroud can be removed by a firm 90 degree twist to unlock it, IIRC.

Assuming we're talking LS1 here. There are probably other tutorials here to look at also.

I didn't drain the rad. I worked around the hose

if your upper rad hose has a pipe in it ....you have the dreaded factory PS cooler......GET RID OF IT YESTERDAY
