Unhappy Question About SLP Y-Pipe with Loudmouth II

I just recently purchased a 2002 SS Camaro and I orders the SLP lid already. But now I wanted to put an exhaust and a y pipe to increase my hp a bit and gas mileage. Plus I want a very nice sound too. So how would a SLP Y-pipe along with the SLP loudmouth 2 sound on a 2002 SS Camaro and how easy is it to put on? Is it all bolt on? Thanks?

The slp loudmouth is fine but is much louder than stock. The gains from the Y-Pipe are no more than 5 HP and maybe nothing.

If you have actually heard them and don't like the sound, I agree with that the LM is very loud and not very refined. If you are implying the quality is bad, that is just plain wrong.

don't waste your money on the SLP y-pipe. i'd tell you to get longtube headers and the accompanying y-pipe, but from what i hear, the loudmouths are raspy and don't sound so good with headers IMO, only buy a loudmouth if you intend to keep your car basically stock with only a lid/catback.

I had a LM1 with stock manifolds and y pipe. It was extremely lound inside the car but sounded great from the outside. No I have a LM2 with longtubes and a ORY and its quieter inside the vehicle and sounds great outside also. My vote is for the LM2
