poly motor mounts....need help

i was told to put some grease on them before i install them to prevent vibration and noise. is this true or is there anything else to prevent those from happenin when going to poly motor mounts and trans mounts? thanks

You're supposed to grease poly sway bar bushings to prevent squeeking but I've never heard of doing that for the trans and motor mounts. I didn't do it on mine and they were fine.

nope, no grease required.

A little grease might help them squeeze into the stock clamshells, but that's about it. Any and all vibration will be caused by them being stiffer overall, and not having rubber to surround the through-bolts like the stock rubber mounts do. Grease ain't gonna stop that...
