Default Muffelx Y-pipe bump stop??

Thunder racing sells a 3" and 4" mufflex y-pipe bump STOP.
It clamps around the Y-pipe and mounts to the origaial floor board exhaust mount.

is any one using this? how well does it work, did it stop your Y-pipe from hitting the floor,
I have FLP long tubes and Y-pipe.

please let me know
thank you

I did a search on this last week and it seems to work pretty good. A lot of people also bought poly motor mounts and it stopped the y-pipe banging.

When I modified my "Y" with a 3" to 4" merge I had to split the pipe. Before welding it I adjusted the drivers side down maybe 1.5" or so. That solved the problem (700rwhp and stock mounts).

I left all the clamps loose and wedged a 2/4 between the tight side and put and jacked up the side with plenty of clearance and twisted the Y pipe. I tightened all the clamps back while there was still tension on the pipes and never had any issues after that.
