Another 90/90 install questions thread
I searched and read all the threads I could find , just want to be sure about a few things.
1. I know I need to replace the valley cover bolts.
2. New intake will not come w/port gaskets. It does come with TB gaskets though , right?
3. I sold my intake gaskets as part of the deal for my ls6 intake and I need to buy new ones. Which do I buy? Napa for ls6 gaskets or specific comp/fast gaskets?
Intake is going to sit on TSP Edelbrock heads. Do I need to epoxy to port match or leave it be?
4. re-use stock intake bolts as the ones that come with intake rust.
*5 Do I need a tune right away or can I drive it to the tuner in a few days?
I know in order to maximise the new intake I'll need a tune. I just dont want to go lean on the way there. Any issues there?
Anything anyone else can think of that I haven't?
Maybe a stickie with all the pertinent facts would be a good idea. I looked for one. TIA
That's what I did and I didn't break it, I also pulled it out VERY slowly.
